Lincoln Township Fire Department
In the early 20th century, Stevensville faced two devastating fires that nearly destroyed the village. The first fire, on August 9, 1909, burned half of the village to the ground. The second fire, on May 28, 1914, destroyed several major buildings, including the town hall, community center and high school gymnasium. Fortunately, the strong tourist and fruit farming industries provided the funds needed to rebuild Stevensville quickly after each fire.

From The Chief

Fire Chief Brandon Chiarello
“Working with Pierce was seamless. Their meticulous attention to detail in building and designing apparatus is outstanding. From start to finish, their engineers were highly responsive, addressing all our questions. We designed one of our coffin compartments with a false floor to accommodate the stokes basket, enabling us to slide it through the rear of the truck rather than climbing on top to retrieve it.”
