The area the district serves is a seasonal vacation area where their call types range from structure fires and traffic accidents to EMS assistance and ice water rescue.

From The Chief

Chief of Waupaca Area Fie District in Front of Their New Impel PUC Pumper Fire Truck

Chief Jerry Deuman

"It's always nice to work with people who are willing to do what it takes to make the customer happy. We wanted a rear suction inlet, but the ladder storage configuration made it a challenge. The engineers at Pierce worked tirelessly to design the truck around our request. Our pumper will serve our urban and rural runs well with easy maneuverability and compartments that can hold a huge cache of supplies."
