The mission of the Wichita Fire Department is to provide excellent, proactive fire and life safety services through prevention, education, and protection.
The 25,000 square foot Wichita Fire Department Regional Training Center opened in 2010 and carries on the Wichita Fire Department training traditions. The facility was built on the existing training facility property and the Center features classrooms that can be configured into a variety of meeting spaces and is equipped with some of the best digital technology available.
